Nordic Boathouse is built on the simple idea to make life at sea more enjoyable and easy.
Nordic Boathouse was founded by brothers Matias and Jonas from Finland. Both grew up with competitive sailing and enjoying sailing with the family during the summers. Life at sea has always been a big part of their lives.
Matias studied Naval Science at Åland and started his career on tankers, icebreakers and sailing passenger ships. As the CEO and co-founder, he leads operations and agency partnerships, drawing on deep technical knowledge and a broad industry network.
Jonas is a certified Yacht Master and a competitive sailor. He studied Political science and crossed the Atlantic as helmsman before dedicating himself fully to yachts. As co-founder, he manages client relations, yacht management, new build projects with a direct approach and extensive experience in yachting.
Nordic Boathouse grew out of that background. Together, Matias and Jonas cover yacht conveyance, new builds, transport, management and consulting.
Today, we work with private clients and business partners across the Nordics and beyond, and bring in specialist partners where it adds value for our clients.
